Sims, Edward Dromgoole

Edward Dromgoole Sims (1805-1845) of Lawrenceville, VA, a member of the Philanthropic Society, received his BA in 1824 and his MA in 1827. From 1825 to 1827 he was a tutor at the University. A Methodist minister, he also held professorships at La Grange College in Alabama, Randolph-Macon College in Virginia, and the University of Alabama.
